Good questions.
The basics
How does My Wedding Tape work?+
You reserve your date online, and a few days before the wedding a kit lands on your doorstep: three easy-to-use 4K cameras and a dedicated audio recorder. Hand them to your favourite people on the day and let them film everything, from morning prep to the last dance. Afterwards you pop the whole kit back in the post with the prepaid label, and our editing team turns it into a wedding film set to music you choose. You also get access to every original clip your guests captured.
What are the cameras like?+
Small, light and genuinely simple: switch on, press record. They shoot in 4K, handle low light well, and there are no settings to get wrong — which is exactly why they work so well in the hands of guests who have never filmed anything before.
Why is it so much cheaper than a videographer?+
A videographer's price is mostly the shoot day itself. Your guests are already there, catching moments no outsider could reach — so you skip that cost entirely. The film you get is different, and we think better: more personal, made by the people who actually know you.
How long is the finished film?+
It follows the natural rhythm of your day rather than a fixed length. Most highlights films land around 8–12 minutes, professionally edited and paced like a proper film, set to music you choose. And because you keep all the original footage, the full moments are always yours too.
How many cameras do we get?+
Three, always. One package, one price, no tiers to compare. Three cameras is the sweet spot for most weddings — prep, ceremony and dance floor all covered at once.
Is this the same team as Ceeb Moz photography?+
Yes. My Wedding Tape is a new service from Ceeb Moz, and your film is edited by the same team.
Booking & payment
How does the £50 reservation work?+
£50 today secures your date. The remaining £400 is collected automatically one month before your wedding, using the card you saved at checkout. The total is always £450 — no hidden extras.
Can I pay the full £450 upfront?+
Yes. Choose 'Pay in full' at checkout and you're all done — nothing more to think about.
What if my wedding is less than a month away?+
Then it's simply £450 in full at checkout, since there's no room for the split payment. Same package, same price.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?+
It depends how far out you are. More than six months before the wedding you get everything back, including the £50. Between one and six months the £50 reserve is kept (or 70% back if you paid in full). Inside the final month, payments can't be refunded. The full detail is in our cancellation policy.
What if our wedding is postponed?+
Just get in touch as soon as you know and we'll move your booking to the new date at no extra cost. Wedding admin is stressful enough — this part is easy.
Before the wedding
When does the kit arrive?+
Usually 3–4 days before your wedding, with tracking so you can follow it. That buffer gives you time to charge everything, have a play, and lets us sort a replacement if anything seems off.
Will everything arrive charged and ready?+
Yes — charged, formatted and ready to record. The kit includes charging cables that work with any standard USB plug or power bank, plus a friendly guide your guests can read in two minutes.
What if a camera doesn't work when it arrives?+
Give each camera a quick test recording as soon as the kit lands. If anything seems off, message us straight away and we'll get a replacement to you before the wedding.
Can we take the kit to a wedding abroad?+
Yes. We deliver to your UK address before you travel, the cameras are tiny and fly easily, and you post the kit back when you're home. Just tell us your plans when you book so the timing works.
On the day
Do our guests need to know how to film?+
Not at all. The cameras are point-and-press simple, and the kit comes with a friendly guide. If someone can take a photo on their phone, they can film on these.
What if the cameras run out of battery?+
Each camera charges over USB, so any standard plug or power bank works. Couples usually top them up during dinner — that's plenty for the rest of the evening.
How much footage can the cameras hold?+
Each camera has a 128GB memory card — hours and hours of 4K footage, far more than a wedding day needs.
Do the cameras record sound?+
Every camera records its own audio, and the kit also includes a dedicated audio recorder for the ceremony and speeches — so the vows come through clearly even when the cameras are across the room.
What if a camera gets lost or damaged?+
It's genuinely rare — the cameras are small, tough and guests look after them well. If the worst happens, our terms explain how loss and damage are handled. We just ask that you look after the kit like it's your own.
After the wedding
When do we send the kit back?+
Within a few days of the wedding, in the original box with the prepaid return label — no trips to the shops needed. Off on honeymoon? Just ask a relative or friend to pop it in the post for you.
When will we get our film?+
Within 4 weeks of us receiving your kit back, you'll get your edited highlights film and vertical Reel.
Can we get our film any faster?+
Yes — add express editing for £50 and we'll have your film ready within 1 week of your kit arriving back. Once you've booked, you'll find the option on your couple's page (the private link in your confirmation).
Can we request changes to the film?+
Most couples love their film first time. If we've made a genuine error we'll fix it, of course. For creative changes beyond that — a different track, a different order — get in touch and we'll talk it through.
How is everything delivered?+
You'll get a private link to watch and download your highlights film and Reel as high-quality video files that play on TVs, laptops and phones. Download and back them up when they arrive, and they're yours forever.
Do we get the original footage too?+
Yes — as well as the edited film and Reel, you get access to all the original footage your guests recorded. Every clip, yours to keep.
Can we choose the music?+
Yes. After the wedding we'll ask which tracks you'd like from our licensed selection, and your film is edited to your choices. No need to decide anything before the day.
Wedding photography
Do we need to book a wedding film?+
No. Wedding photography is a separate service and can be booked completely on its own.
How much coverage do we get?+
Up to eight consecutive hours with one professional photographer. You agree the exact start and finish times with us before your booking is confirmed, and travel time never counts towards your hours.
Is travel included?+
Yes — ordinary travel and accommodation are included in your regional price. Islands and exceptionally remote venues may need an individual quote, and occasionally we may not be able to cover them.
Who will photograph our wedding?+
A professional from our in-house team or one of our vetted freelance photographers. We confirm who before you pay, and you'll meet them in your pre-wedding consultation.
When and how will we get our photos?+
Within 4 weeks of your wedding, your photos are shared in a private online gallery, where you can download them in high resolution.
How do payments work?+
Once your photographer is confirmed you can reserve with a 20% deposit, with the remaining 80% taken automatically one month before your wedding, or pay in full. Weddings less than a month away are paid in full.
What if we need to cancel or change the date?+
Get in touch as soon as you can. Date changes depend on photographer availability. Cancellation terms are set out in your quote before you pay.
